Refund Policy
To request for a
refund, students must present a written notice to UBridge
College. The Registration (Application) Fee is NOT refundable
under any circumstances.
I.
Refund
for Local Students (Canadian Citizen/landed Immigrants)
A.
Refund
before the program of study starts:
1.
If a
written notice of withdrawal is received by UBridge College
more than thirty (30) calendar days before the start day of
the program, a full refund of the total fees due under the
contract will be granted.
2.
If a
written notice of withdrawal is received by UBridge College
thirty-one (31) calendar days or less before the start day
of the program, UBridge College will retain 10% of the total
fees due under the contract.
B.
Refund
after the program of study starts:
1.
If a
written notice of withdrawal is received by UBridge College
within five (5) calendar days after the start day of the
program, UBridge College will retain 50% of the total fees due
under the contract
2.
If a
written notice of withdrawal is received by UBridge College
more than five (5) calendar days after the start day of the
program, NO REFUND of the any fees due under the contract will
be granted.
II.
Refund
for International Students (or Visitors)
An International
Student is a person who is not a Canadian Citizen or a Landed
Immigrant, or who has been determined under the Immigration Act
to be Convention Refugee.
International
students who are applying for the first time for a Study
Authorization are required to prepay tuition for a minimum of

terms of
the program
desired
before a Letter of Acceptance can be issued.
For an extension of
a Study Authorization, international students are required to
prepay tuition for a minimum of 1 term of the program
enrolled before a Letter of Acceptance can be issued.
A.
Withdrawals related to Study Authorizations:
1.
A full
refund of tuition and school fees will be granted to the
international students who:
a)
are
denied authorization by Canadian Citizenship and Immigration; or
b)
did
not receive authorization prior to the start of the program
study, provided that.
2.
Students must present both the official Letter of Acceptance
issued by UBridge College and the refusal letter issued by
Canadian Citizenship and Immigration to be eligible for the
refund.
B.
Withdrawals non-related to Study Authorizations:
1.
Any
applicant that has been granted an entry visa into Canada but
cancels his/her enrolment at UBridge College 30 days before the
school semester starts will be refunded part of the tuition and
school fees he/she has paid. One thousand Canadian dollars (CDN
$1,000) will be deducted from the paid tuition and school fees
to cover administrative and processing costs. The Registration
Fee is NOT refundable under any circumstances.
2.
If a
student entered Canada on a student visa empowered by the
official Letter of Acceptance issued by UBridge College; or
obtained an extension of student authorization empowered by the
official Letter of Acceptance issued by
UBridge College; and the student cancels enrolment at
UBridge College, he/she is NOT entitled to any refund of
any fees paid to UBridge College.
